    I voted for Aphrodite, for a unique choice.

  • Matias Furia

    I’m surprised people are not all voting Loki, altough I’m glad Aphrodite is winning.

    • Natasha Gray

      I agree, was expecting Loki to smash it! I voted for Aphrodite though 🙂

    • Randy Philipp

      I always vote before looking at the results, sort of sad that there is no love for Loki. This is so Redgrin Grumble.

  • Davide Campari

    In case Aphrodite wins, I hope Lindsay will feature her jingle from “Hercules the Animated Series” again.

  • TalesFanGirl

    These are all good choices, but I chose Aphrodite because she’s the only one on this list where I don’t really remember seeing her depicted in a major film. (I’m sure she has been, but I haven’t seen anything).

    But you know if Loki wins, Lindsay’s video is ultimately just gonna be a countdown until she discusses Tom Hiddleston’s Loki.

    Nina Paley the creator of Sita Sings the Blues is working on a movie about the Exodus btw. Will be interesting to see how she handles her own culture as she is Jewish. She is posting clips of the movie on her vimeo page but it will probably take a few years before she finishes it, that would perhaps be to long to wait.

  • I hope Aphrodite wins it. All the others feel a bit long in the tooth. Aphrodite seems like the only one that has some freshness to it.

  • C Marie

    Moses, because I would love to see you talk about prince of egypt

  • Therese Søiland

    Looks like Aphrodite is going to win, but I do hope that if Loke wins, that Lindsey will include the danish animated series or the comics. That would’ve been awesome. Though I don’t know if they were ever translated or distributed in America, or big enough for Lindsey to include.

  • Cameron Ward

    i voted for Hercules

  • Bobby Calloway

    Just wondering is it only Aphrodite or will depictions of Venus be included too? Since for all intents and purposes, they’re the same.

  • Wesley Hunt

    My vote’s on Hercules (or Heracles, if you will)

  • nameless coward

    Voted for Lisa Kudrow…I mean Aphrodite. Yeah, love her version from Hercules:TAS (it’s basically Michelle from from Romy and Michelle’s High School Reunion), especially that jingle/intro whenever she appeared.

  • Rebochan

    Wow, so surprised not to see Loki walking away with this one. I look forward to the video 🙂

  • Solomon Wakeling

    I voted for Aphrodite cos all the others are dudes. Here’s a picture of a teddy bear, I don’t want him anymore.

  • Ace20xd6

    Next one should be the DC’s Trinity.

  • Polly Whitacker

    If you go for Loki, would you consider Eight Days of Luke by Diana Wynne Jones? It’s a book so not the usual medium for Loose Canon, but it’s short and awesome and not American Gods (I think you mentioned not liking that in Booze Your Own Adventure).

  • They Call Me The Fizz

    Kind of cool seeing the lone goddess dominate the poll… Unfortunately, this also means you’ll probably have to play THAT minigame from God Of War III…

  • Carla Griffin

    Aphrodite! I love Greek Gods.

  • Erebus Elysium

    Loose Canon: The Boogeyman!

    * Bogeyman (Folklore)

    * Boogeyman (The Real Ghostbusters)

    * Mirror Ghost with a Stocking on his head (The Boogeyman 1980)

    * Oogie Boogie (The Nightmare Before Christmas)

    * Boogeyman (Grim Adventures in Wonderland)

    * Boogeymen (Boogeyman 2005, 2008 and 2009)

    * Pitch Black (Rise of the Guardians)

    Just something to think about.

    • Jobbeybob

      Als, Bughuul from Sinister.

  • RedHoodResurrected

    I voted for Aphrodite, in the hopes that my Youtube crush will analyze my mythological crush. 🙂

  • MichaelT

    This was a really tough choice, but I went with Noah because I’d be really interested in Lindsay’s opinion on the Russell Crowe version.

    …But, it looks like I’m in the way minority on that one, so whatevs.

  • AlgebraPolynom

    I’m really interested in Moses and Noah as well, but Aphrodite won, because I figured I knew the least about her. However, would be really happy to see the former two included again in later polls as well.
